Mixing It Up With Your Bagel of the Month Box

Mixing It Up With Your Bagel of the Month Box

If you eat bagels the same way every day, you’re bound to get bored! Don’t let your monthly bagel of the month box go to waste – have some fun with your bagels, and don’t be afraid to add some variety to your daily bagel.

If you’re short on ideas, here’s some of our favorite recipes for a delicious experience!

Bagels for Breakfast

If you work an early-morning job, you know the pain of missing breakfast well. Sometimes, it’s just too much hassle to get up and spend your time making an entire spread of eggs, bacon, and potatoes.

However, this doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a warm breakfast that isn’t from a drive-through window. Ditch the cereal and breakfast sandwiches, and try your hand at spicing up a bagel! A freshly poached egg with bacon or sausage is a great alternative to the frozen stuff.

Those who want a healthier option can opt for a bagel with nut butter, cream cheese, or fruit! If you need some sugar to start your day, jam or Nutella can also make a great topping for your breakfast bagel.

Bagels for Lunch

Many of us fall into the trap of getting fast food or prepped food for lunch every day, especially once we’ve grown bored of plain sandwiches. Luckily, having a supply of bagels can change that.

Get a little crazy with your bagel sandwiches and lunches, and don’t be afraid to change things up every week. This will keep you from getting bored and moving on to less healthy foods. One week, try topping your bagel with thin-sliced turkey and veggies. On another week, try smoked ham.

You can also try adding your bagel as a side to other things. Variety makes a great meal, after all. Pack your bagel with a fruit salad and cream cheese, or toast one half and eat it with a meal-prepped pasta lunch.

Bagels for Dinner

This is not a crazy idea, trust us! In fact, bagels make great additions to dinner. Serve it buttered and toasted alongside some salmon, turn the halves into mini bagel pizzas, make bagel-chicken sandwiches, and even try bagel burgers.

If you think of bagels as fancy bread, they become one of the most versatile things in your kitchen cabinet. Nothing is off-limits, especially if you enjoy it. Make the most of your monthly bagel box, and browse our blog for more tasty ideas.
