Allergen Statement
New Yorker Bagels is not a certified nut free environment, although none of our products contain any nuts. Residual nut contamination from our ingredient supplies is possible, though unlikely.
The only common allergens that are present in our products are wheat and sesame. All of our bagels contain wheat.
Vegan Statement
None of our bagels contain animal products - they are 100% Vegan.
The pumpernickel bagels were the best we’ve ever had! They came when promised and were so fresh. We’ll definitely order them again!
Very happy you make pumpernickel
My bagels started showing mold on Day 4, one day after the 3 day mold warning. Warning is very accurate! With 2 days of shipping, upon arrival they must be eaten or frozen ASAP. Due to shipping days and quick mold, I cannot recommend these bagels.

As stated on the website, at checkout and on the pamphlet that is inserted into the box with the bagels, our bagels do not contain any preservatives and must be frozen upon receipt. I sent a dozen to a friend who loves pumpernickel. She said they were "delicious, proper bagels!" Easy to order and fast shipping all the way across the country.

I was expecting a more chewy bagel but I found these to be too bready. Sadly disappointed.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the fresh bagels you received. Out of curiosity, did you follow the included storage and handling instructions before trying the bagels? The texture does tend to be negatively impacted during the shipping process and the bagels greatly benefit from airing out for 15-20 minutes before eating. Also, reheating them for 4 minutes at 400 degrees provides the crispy outside and soft chewy inside of an authentic New York City bagel.
