COVID 19 Update

As we continue to closely monitor the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, New Yorker Bagels is taking all necessary measures to minimize the exposure and prevent the spreading of the virus. Our facility has a rigid GMP program in place that is being strictly enforced on a daily basis. In addition, the following procedures are being implemented:

• Staff briefings are being conducted daily emphasizing the importance of personal hygiene as a part of our GMP program
• Visitors to our bakery have been restricted and meetings are moved online
• Additional hand sanitizing stations have been installed across the bakery
• High traffic areas are being sanitized with an approved chemical on a regular basis throughout the day
• All employees are going through daily temperature checks upon entering the bakery
• All employees are required to wear masks and gloves at all times and change them frequently as need be
• Employees presenting with the symptoms corresponding to those outlined by CDC for COVID-19 are not allowed on the premises and are required to stay home until the symptoms are completely cleared
